BlurVibe Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 23, 2026

BlurVibe is designed to help users visually mask sensitive content on web pages before screenshots, screen recordings, demos, and screen sharing.

Data Collection

BlurVibe does not collect, sell, transmit, or share personal data.

BlurVibe does not upload web page content, screenshots, browsing history, selected elements, custom blur areas, or blur settings to any external server.

Local Storage

BlurVibe uses Chrome local storage to save page-specific blur masks and blur intensity settings on the user's device. This local storage allows BlurVibe to restore blur masks after the user refreshes or reopens the same page.

The stored data remains in the user's browser and is not transmitted to BlurVibe or any third party.

Permissions

BlurVibe uses the storage permission to save blur settings locally in Chrome.

BlurVibe runs on web pages so users can select elements, draw custom blur areas, display the toolbar, and apply visual blur effects. These actions happen locally in the browser.

Remote Code

BlurVibe does not use remote code. All JavaScript, CSS, and assets are bundled inside the extension package.

Third Parties

BlurVibe does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or external APIs.

Data Sharing

BlurVibe does not share user data with third parties.

Data Deletion

Users can remove stored blur data by clearing BlurVibe's extension data in Chrome or uninstalling the extension.
